OUR STORY
GET TO KNOW US
HOW WE RAISE OUR
RESPONSIBILITY
Firstly, LAST STUDIO is a member of LWG (Leather Working Group), which means we are obliged to buy leather from tanneries which have been audited in accordance with LWG rules. The key areas are handling of chemicals, water usage when tanning and wastewater management.
Secondly, we product mainly in Europe and are working within EU requirements. This means we have high standards according to REACH and we must follow the legislation
accordingly.
Thirdly, we believe that the best way to be sustainable is through creating quality products with a long-life span.
We need to recognize that the main problem in fashion industry is the amount of product which is consumed and to the quality
level it is made. We believe that better quality equals longer lifespan, which equals lesser impact.
MATERIALS
All footwear from Last Studio is produced with the very best materials available. All boots and shoes are made in premium leather and sourced from some of the best tanneries in Europe.

All hides used in the manufacturing of LAST STUDIO shoes are a biproduct and none of the animals have been bread only for their hides.
All Last Studio shoes are produced within the REACH EU directive and are all free from harmful chemicals, chromium and metals.
OUR MAGICAL
FACTORIES
Quality, craftmanship, comfort and using natural materials are all key elements when it comes to producing LAST STUDIO.
All the factories we are working with are carefully chosen for their level of quality and their understanding and alignment of values. We have worked with most of the factories for many years and consider them extended family of LAST STUDIO.
All the shoes we produce are carefully handmade according to a long tradition of footwear craftmanship. That also means we take pride in every pair of shoes leaving our facilities, and we are proud to say that they are made in Portugal.
